Select the closest server. Generally, these sites provide a list of servers that are in your vicinity to connect and run tests. Sites select the optimal server for your location.
A nearby server will give you the best results and will tell you the speed closest to the maximum.
You can test the speed from your location to several servers around the world, to get an idea of the time of file transfer from other countries.
Run the test. Wait a few seconds while the test file is sent to your computer. The results will be displayed in Mbps. Compare the result with what the provider company is supposed to offer you.
